  • Web dashboard backup only (changes sync automatically, but not in realtime)
  • No prompt version history
  • No import or export of prompts

Upgrade to Premium for unlimited prompts, up to 300 MB synced storage, realtime sync (subject to service capacity), and up to 3 active devices.

Sharing your account credentials with others is not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of credential sharing or other abuse.

Service Availability: We aim to provide the Service continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, third-party infrastructure factors, or other causes outside our control.

4. Browser Extension

4.1 Browser Compatibility and Store Policies

The GetPromptLib browser extension is available for Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers. The extension is subject to the relevant store policies for the browser you use, including the Chrome Web Store Program Policies (for Chrome and Chromium derivatives), which include:

  • Single Purpose: GetPromptLib's single purpose is helping users save, organize, and reuse AI prompts efficiently across supported AI chat websites.
  • Minimum Permissions: We request only the permissions required for saving, insertion, sidebar, sync, account, and session features.
  • In-Product Disclosures: Where required by applicable Chrome Web Store policies, we provide in-product disclosures and obtain user consent before collecting or using personal or sensitive data for those features.

4.2 Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The following Chrome Web Store statement applies to the extension:

"The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements."

4.3 Data Stored or Processed by the Extension

The extension stores or processes:

  • Prompts, templates, and library items you explicitly choose to save
  • Extension settings, preferences, and prompt version history where available
  • Authentication and session data for cloud sync and account access
  • Device activation and recovery state used to manage synced devices
  • Analytics consent state and pseudonymous analytics identifiers (with your consent)

Content scripts load on compatible pages so the extension can detect editable fields, support Quick Trigger insertion flows, and render the floating sidebar UI. Page context is processed locally in your browser for those features. We do not build or sell browsing-history profiles, and we do not send general page content, raw prompt content, template content, or saved page text to our servers or analytics tools as a dataset. Privileged website-to-extension messaging is restricted to trusted GetPromptLib web origins.

4.4 Permissions Required

  • storage — Store prompts, settings, session data, activation state, and consent state locally
  • cookies — Read and write the GetPromptLib first-party recovery cookie used for trusted device recovery
  • alarms — Schedule periodic cloud sync and background maintenance tasks
  • sidePanel — Open the sidebar panel
  • contextMenus — "Save to GetPromptLib" right-click action
  • tabs — Detect the active tab and coordinate sidebar or trusted webapp session behavior across tabs
  • activeTab — Access the current tab when you trigger a GetPromptLib action
  • scripting — Inject or reinject extension UI into compatible pages and set trusted webapp session flags
  • clipboardWrite — Copy a prompt to your clipboard
  • <all_urls> — Allow save, Quick Trigger, and sidebar features to work on the pages you use

5. User Accounts

5.1 Required Registration

An active GetPromptLib account is required to use the extension. You must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information, including your email address, display name, and country. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

5.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

5.3 One Account per User

Each user may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination of all associated accounts.

5.4 No Circumvention

You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent any plan limit, device limit, usage cap, export restriction, payment control, verification requirement, security measure, or abuse-prevention mechanism, including by creating related accounts, using aliases, rotating devices or environments, reinstalling the extension to avoid restrictions, sharing credentials, or otherwise concealing account relationships.

6. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

  • Save, organise, and manage your personal or business AI prompts
  • Access prompts via the browser extension for use with AI platforms
  • Create and use prompt templates
  • Back up your prompts to the web dashboard
  • Synchronise data across devices you own (up to 3 devices simultaneously with a Premium subscription)
  • Any lawful purpose consistent with these Terms

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • Store or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or abusive
  • Spread misinformation or content that incites hatred or discrimination
  • Access any system or data without authorisation
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Scrape, mine, or extract data automatically without our written permission
  • Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited communications
  • Use bots or automation in ways not permitted by these Terms
  • Resell or transfer access to the Service without our written consent
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
  • Use the import/export feature to extract, redistribute, or republish content from the GetPromptLib Public Library, including free, Premium, or Exclusive collection items
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

Violation of these provisions may result in immediate account suspension and/or legal action.

7.1 Service Protection and Fair Use

We may implement, monitor, and modify reasonable usage limits, storage limits, synchronisation limits, export limits, device limits, verification measures, cooldown periods, and other technical or operational controls to protect the Service, our users, our infrastructure, our content, and our intellectual property. We may apply these measures automatically or manually where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, excessive consumption, unauthorised access, scraping, account sharing, multi-account circumvention, or other violations of these Terms.

To reduce abuse, we may impose temporary cooldowns, additional verification, or other restrictions on new device activations, account recovery, synchronisation, exports, or similar actions when activity appears unusual or inconsistent with normal personal use.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 GetPromptLib Ownership

The Service, including its design, code, features, trademarks, and content we provide (excluding User Content), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights.

8.2 Your Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the prompts, templates, and other content you create using GetPromptLib.

We do not claim ownership over your creations.

8.3 Limited Hosting Licence

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:

  • Store and process your User Content solely to provide the Service
  • Create backups for security and disaster recovery
  • Display content in accordance with your privacy settings
  • Synchronise content across your devices

This licence does not grant us the right to sell, publicly distribute, or use your content for any purpose other than providing the Service.

8.4 Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, we may use that feedback to improve the Service without any obligation of compensation to you.

8.5 Purchased Prompt Collections

Prompt collections available for purchase in the GetPromptLib Library ("Premium Collections") are curated, copyright-protected content. When you purchase a Premium Collection:

  • You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the prompts for your personal or business use
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or share the collection with third parties
  • You may not upload the collection to public platforms, AI training datasets, or derivative products
  • GetPromptLib retains all intellectual property rights over Premium Collections

8.7 Export Restrictions for Library Content

The import/export feature (available to Premium subscribers) applies exclusively to user-created prompts and templates. Prompts imported from the GetPromptLib Public Library — including items sourced from free, Premium, or Exclusive collections — are automatically excluded from all exports. This restriction is enforced at the server level and cannot be bypassed.

Attempting to circumvent these restrictions, or using exported data to redistribute library content to third parties, constitutes copyright infringement and a material breach of these Terms, and may result in account termination and legal action.

8.8 Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to legal@getpromptlib.com containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  2. Identification of the infringing content and its location on the Service
  3. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  4. A statement that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate
  6. Your physical or electronic signature as the copyright owner or authorised representative

8.9 Reverse Engineering and Competitive Misuse

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, derive source code from, or attempt to discover the underlying structure, logic, or algorithms of the Service. You may not probe, benchmark, monitor, scrape, or test the Service for competitive analysis, model training, replication, or development of a competing product without our prior written permission.

9. Payment & Subscriptions

Payment Processors

We use two payment processors depending on your location and preferred payment method:

Lemon Squeezy — acts as our Merchant of Record (MoR) for international users. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record and handles payment processing, tax collection (VAT/GST), and global tax compliance.

Mayar.id — available as a payment option for users who prefer local Indonesian payment methods (QRIS, bank transfer, e-wallets). Mayar.id processes payments and stores payment data on servers within Indonesia.

9.1 Paid Plans

The Service is available in free and paid plans. Features and limitations of each plan are described on our Pricing page.

9.2 Billing

  • International users: payment transactions are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes (VAT/GST) are calculated and added automatically based on your location. Invoices are issued by Lemon Squeezy.
  • Indonesian users (Mayar.id): payment transactions are processed through Mayar.id. Supported methods include QRIS, bank transfer, and e-wallets. Payment data is processed and stored within Indonesia.

9.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the relevant customer portal (Lemon Squeezy or Mayar.id, depending on how you subscribed).

9.4 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for paid plans. Refund requests are handled by your payment processor: Lemon Squeezy (subject to their Terms and Conditions) or Mayar.id (subject to Mayar.id Terms). For digital product purchases (Premium Collections), EU consumers have the right to withdraw within 14 days unless the digital content has been accessed or downloaded.

9.5 Payment Disputes

All billing disputes, refund requests, and payment issues are handled by the payment processor through which you subscribed — Lemon Squeezy or Mayar.id.

9.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' prior notice. Price changes do not apply to subscription periods already paid for.

9.7 WhatsApp Number Requirement for Mayar Payments

When paying via Mayar.id, you are required to provide a valid WhatsApp mobile phone number. This requirement is mandated by Mayar.id for payment confirmation and fraud prevention purposes. By proceeding with a Mayar payment, you consent to your WhatsApp number being shared with Mayar.id as part of the payment transaction. You may update or remove your saved WhatsApp number at any time in Account Settings; however, a valid number must be provided at the time of purchase.

9.8 Tax Documentation

International users (Lemon Squeezy): Lemon Squeezy acts as our Merchant of Record for international payments and handles all applicable VAT, GST, and sales tax on your behalf. Formal tax invoices and receipts for international purchases are issued by Lemon Squeezy.

Non-Indonesian users paying via Mayar.id: Mayar.id is a local Indonesian payment gateway intended for users in Indonesia. Mayar.id does not issue tax documents (such as VAT invoices or official tax receipts) for transactions originating outside Indonesia. If you are located outside Indonesia and choose to pay via Mayar.id, we are unable to provide a formal tax invoice or receipt for that transaction. If tax documentation is required for your purchase, please use the Lemon Squeezy payment option instead.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10.2 Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the lesser of: (a) the amounts you paid to us in the 1 month preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10.

10.3 Exclusion of Consequential Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.4 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for third-party services integrated with or accessible through the Service, including AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, or others.

11.2 Suspension or Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • You are engaged in or reasonably suspected of payment abuse, chargeback abuse, account sharing, multi-account circumvention, scraping, or unauthorised automated use
  • You refuse to cooperate with reasonable identity, payment, or security verification requests
  • Continued access poses a risk to the Service, other users, or our infrastructure
  • Required to comply with applicable law or court order
  • The account has been inactive for more than 12 months (free accounts)

11.3 Investigation and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, fraud, security incidents, payment abuse, scraping, account sharing, multi-account circumvention, suspicious device activity, and other harmful conduct. During an investigation, we may restrict features, delay synchronisation, disable exports, require identity or payment verification, suspend access, or terminate accounts immediately and without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users. Where applicable law or Chrome Web Store policies require it, any human review of user data during security investigations is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Email to your registered address
  • An in-Service notification
  • An updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, please stop using the Service.

Our systems record the version of these Terms you accepted, together with a timestamp, as evidence of your electronic agreement.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
